The end quarter project for the Intro to Mechatronics class at Stanford University is to design and build an autonomous robot that is able to do more than play basketball - to score ruthlessly, and at will.
Our team consisted of Brad Allen, a business graduate student, Armelle Goreux, an ME senior, Sid Kumar, a ME/PD co-term, and Mason Shaw, an ME senior.
Scoring Machines is a competition in which robots pull back and drop bombs from downtown. The goal is to shower buckets on an opponent until they cry mercilessly. A more detailed (and formal) write up of the rules of the competition can be found in the linked PDF below.
